Grammy award winning producer/engineer, Elliot Scheiner is considered one of the world's foremost authorities on surround sound and multi-channel mixing. Always on the leading edge of new technology, Elliot is currently producing and engineering with the six discrete, uncompressed channels of DVD-Audio. He has produced/engineered numerous DVD-Audio recordings including, Queen - A Night at the Opera, Eagles- Hotel California, REM - Automatic for the People, Faith Hill - Cry, Sting - Brand New Day, Van Morrison - Moondance, Doobie Brothers - Captain & Me, Steely Dan - multi-Grammy winning Two Against Nature, America - Homecoming, Toy Matinee - Toy Matinee and Grover Washington Jr. - Winelight.
Elliot's talents have been recognized with 20 Grammy nominations, five of which he took home, two Emmy nominations and three TEC award nominations. Canadian-born bassist/vocalist Kelly Friesen has been “slapping” his way to the top since he moved to the Big Apple back in 1994. After playing with jazz greats such as Herb Ellis, Bucky Pizzarelli, Dick Hyman and Warren Vache, Kelly soon established himself as the premiere “slap” bassist in New York City. Prior to moving to New York, Kelly studied exclusively for 4 years with legendary jazz bassist Ray Brown.
